United States Accreditation
American High School is the only independent school accredited by AdvancED in Tbilisi, Georgia. As a United States accredited school, American High School is recognized as meeting the criteria set by AdvancED for quality schools and improvement. The quality of education at American High School is consistent with educational standards across the United States. Credits earned at American High School are easily transferable to high schools in the United States. Additionally, American colleges and universities recognize coursework and diplomas earned from American High School as comparable to those earned from a high school in the United States. American High School is a fully US accredited school under AdvancED and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

European Accreditation Council of International Schools
American High School is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) as a global non-profit membership organization. CIS provides services to that share these ideals:
- a desire to provide students with the knowledge, skills and abilities to pursue their lives as global citizens; and
- a commitment to high quality international education
To achieve this goal, American High School infuses our program and offerings with an international and intercultural perspective so that students may move forward with the attitudes and understanding that will provide them with a solid base wherever their studies or work may take them. American High School is committted to undertaking an ongoing external quality assurance process to enhance student learning.

College Board Member
American High School is a College Board Member as of December 2015. College Board Membership allows American High School to connect with global education networks at the forefront of education policy, research, and real-world practice.
