European School at Science Picnic

On September 30, 2017, the European School participated in Iliauni Science Picnic which was held within the Tbilisi Science and Innovation Festival.

With the intention of creating a better future, students and teachers at the European School fully comprehend the role of engineering technologies and sciences. Since the European School implemented the STEM Program a year ago, it hardly comes as a surprise that the participation in Science Picnic was enthusiastically embraced by the school community, including ICT, science teachers, Robotics Club supervisors and their students.

The European School science camp attracted visitors with its diverse program. You could enjoy programmable robots and computer games created by the students, design interesting shapes with a 3D pen, make airplanes from paper and plastic, observe microorganisms under the microscope, taste liquid nitrogen popcorn, make fake blood come out of fake wounds, hold fire without getting yourself burned and take a selfie with a funny figure of a scientist with the European School balloons.
