Introduction of GIS systems at the European School

Professor Sergo Tsimuria, specialist in Geographic Information System (GIS), paid a visit to the European School on November 3, 2017. Along with the representatives of the ICT and Social Science Departments, Prof. Tsiramua discussed the significance of introducing GIS to the European School. GIS platform will be installed in the school’s computer labs to make research process much easier, especially when it comes down to collecting, recording, analyzing and visualizing statistical data.
The school also plans to run introductory classes in Geography and History.
