International Conference
With the support of the Council of Europe office in Georgia, the first international Conference, “A Child-friendly Justice System and Child Rights, The Best European and American Experience,” took place on November 20th, 2023.
Fifteen students of the European School and the Student Wellbeing Service representatives took part in the conference, shared their views on challenges faced by children in the digital environment, and engaged in a meaningful exchange with professionals.
Students presented the following topics:
• The importance of the Internet for teenagers – Elene Khurtsilava
• Danger of cyberbullying in various social media – Nino Kublashvili
The Head of ES Student Wellbeing Service Ana Chakhnashvili presented a report on how students’ rights are protected and what are the measures school takes to create a caring environment for every student.
