What We Eat
The European School provides an on-campus canteen, cafeteria for students and staff to enjoy with the goal of providing a variety of healthy and tasty food. Ninety percent of the items served are home-made and hand prepared right on-site by our professional and highly experienced staff. The canteen strives to use mainly local ingredients, which retain the most nutrients due to short distances traveled. All food is prepared daily on the premises using fresh ingredients hence ensuring quality. The menu offered to school students is developed according to recommendations and guidelines provided by the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia and helps students keep their energy levels up during the whole school day.
There are two main serving stations for breakfast and lunch: the school canteen and the school cafeteria catering to the Elementary School, the Middle School, the High School and the staff. During the breakfast and lunch breaks, students learn the importance of good table manners and can socialize with other students in comfortable dining rooms. Students can bring their own lunch if they are not using food services offered by the school.
The European School offers free breakfast and lunch to all students from grades 1-3 during the school year. Parents of students from grades 4-5 willing to have access to the paid meal service may purchase a meal plan for their children (breakfast and lunch) after filling out the application form: https://shorturl.at/64tKG |
Students can purchase school meals directly as well in the Canteen (Building A) or Cafeteria (Building A, B and C). In the Building B, C Cafeteria, they may order meals and pay for them using five Digital Menu Boards that make the process faster and more comfortable.
