A Proud Milestone for Our PYP Learners!
Our PYP students, together with participants from our extracurricular Game Programmer’s Club, became the first group from Georgia to host an official Hour of AI event!
The Hour of AI is a national and global campaign that helps schools introduce students to artificial intelligence in a fun, accessible, and meaningful way. Its purpose is to spark curiosity, deepen understanding, and show that AI is for everyone.
Throughout the event, our students engaged in hands-on activities, thoughtful discussions, and meaningful exploration. They clearly understood the main message of the campaign:
We create — and AI empowers.
They realized that humans are the thinkers, creators, and decision-makers, while AI serves as a powerful tool that supports their ideas and helps solve real-world problems.
A special highlight was a live interview with one of the Product Managers of Computer Science in the United States. Students asked insightful questions, explored real examples of AI, and demonstrated strong IB inquiry skills. The conversation was inspiring and helped them better understand how AI works and why responsible innovation matters.
We are incredibly proud of our young innovators who represented Georgia with excellence in this global initiative!
