IB DP students of the European School at HMCD 2017

On January 19-21 the European School students from IB DP grade 11: Humay Mammadova, Nariman Mammadov, Stefania –Alexandra Pirosca, Elene Tskhadadze and Tahira Valiyeva together with their supervisor Ketevan Nachkebia attended world’s premier government simulation -Harvard Model Congress Dubai. The students took on the roles of US Representatives, UN representatives and tackled some of the world’s most pressing issues. Through public speaking, negotiation, and compromise, delegates challenged themselves to understand the nuances of politics and the intricacies of legislation. The delegates worked hand-in-hand with Harvard students to develop complex solutions to world issues.
