Grade 5A visits MYP: Interview with Grade 6

As the final project of their unit, Who We Are about changes and growing up, Grade 5 students took an exciting step towards their transition from PYP to MYP. As part of the final activity of the unit, they prepared questions for an interview with Grade 6 students to learn more about the changes, challenges, and exciting opportunities that come with joining the MYP programme. The Grade 6 students prepared a presentation sharing their personal experiences, helping the younger students understand what to expect and how to prepare for this new stage of their learning journey.

After the presentation, Grade 5 students asked their prepared questions and learned valuable tips from their older peers. To conclude the experience, the Grade 6 students took them on a tour of the MYP facilities, including classrooms, the cafeteria, laboratories, the library, and the main hall.

This meaningful experience helped Grade 5 students become more familiar with their future learning environment and feel more confident and excited about their upcoming transition to MYP.
