Grade 5C: Exhibition Action

Grade 5C students organized a special Workshop Day for the PYP students as part of their Exhibition. Each team designed and facilitated an educational game or interactive activity connected to their research topic.

During the workshop, younger students were invited to rotate between different stations prepared by the Exhibition teams. At each station, the organizers explained their topic and guided the visitors through a hands-on activity. For example, some students demonstrated how fossils are formed and allowed participants to create their own model fossils. Another group introduced aspects of Japanese culture by teaching visitors how to use chopsticks and how to write simple words in Japanese characters. At another station, students explored the history of writing by helping guests practice writing using ancient Georgian letters. One of the most exciting activities involved using VR glasses, which allowed participants to virtually explore the deep sea and learn about underwater environments in an immersive way.

The Workshop Day created a lively and collaborative learning atmosphere throughout the school. It allowed the Exhibition students to take the role of teachers and leaders, guiding younger learners and answering their questions. The event was a wonderful opportunity for the school community to come together.
