Journey Into Georgian Culture
IB PYP 5th graders visited a culinary school with their teachers, where they made traditional Georgian dishes such as khachapuri and churchkhela. The students pressed grapes with their own hands and made tatara. Against the backdrop of various Georgian songs, the students engaged in interesting activities, spoke in Georgian, and applied their learned knowledge in practice. Such activities are very important for all foreign students as they facilitate not only language acquisition but also a closer understanding of the country’s traditions and culture.
