Little Entrepreneurs, Big Hearts

Grade 2 students, under the unit “How We Organize Ourselves,” explored how marketplaces are organized to meet the needs and wants of communities.

Inspired by their learning, students organized a marketplace at school, where they designed shops and sold handmade crafts and homemade food. Our PYP community actively participated in the event, and we sincerely thank all families, students, and staff for their wonderful support.

The most meaningful part of this experience was giving back. All collected funds were donated to support children in need, and 1,237 GEL was proudly donated to SOS Children’s Village.

Through this project, students developed communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and financial literacy skills, while also strengthening their empathy and sense of social responsibility. This experience showed them that learning can lead to real action and positive change.
