A Summer of Success: Students Shine in Global Programs

This summer, the American School of Advanced Studies continued to support our students in their pursuit of growth and skill development. We proudly share the experiences of several students who embarked on remarkable journeys abroad, attending programs at St Edward’s School in Oxford and Fettes College in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Oxford and Our Student: A Fascination That Goes Both Ways

Ketevan Mamukashvili, a 10th grader, immersed herself in the Future Leader program at Oxford. She learned about entrepreneurship, delivered presentations, and mastered public speaking. For her final project, Ketevan developed a business plan to raise awareness about the dangers of vaping, created a website, and presented her project. Competing against international peers, she secured second place, a remarkable achievement considering only first and second places were awarded.

Ketevan particularly enjoyed the opportunity to work in diverse teams, gaining insights from different cultural perspectives. We’re proud to share her inspiring story and some highlights from her productive summer.
