Career Day: Inspiring Future Leaders Through Professional Insights
The American School of Advanced Studies hosted the Career Day , a student-initiated professional engagement event designed to connect students with experienced industry leaders and provide first-hand insights into diverse career paths and the realities of the professional world.
Organized and hosted by Keti Darchiashvili and Ana Molodini, the event brought together five distinguished professionals representing different industries:
-
Keti Kachkachuri — Interior Design, sharing insights into spatial aesthetics, architectural concepts, and creative design.
-
Nanuka Jobava — Finance Director, discussing corporate financial management, strategic budgeting, and economic decision-making.
-
Tamar Surmava — Legal Counsel & Attorney, offering perspectives on corporate law, contractual responsibilities, and the protection of rights.
-
Erekle Shubitidze — International Relations Expert, exploring diplomacy, foreign policy, international cooperation, and negotiation.
-
Maia Sidamonidze — Hospitality & Tourism Executive, presenting the dynamics of hospitality management, tourism development, and service excellence.
Structured as an interactive, interview-style panel, the event featured individual conversations led by the student hosts, followed by an open Q&A session that allowed students to engage directly with the invited professionals.
At ASAS, we believe that preparing students for the future means giving them opportunities to learn from those who are shaping it today. We thank our guest speakers for sharing their expertise and experiences, and our student hosts for their initiative, leadership, and commitment to creating meaningful learning opportunities for their peers.
