National Cyber Olympics

On October 27, National Cyber Olympics initiated by the Ministry of Justice of Georgia was held at the Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel.
At the National Cyber Olympics the issues of cybersecurity were raised; 50 teams composed of school students and university students competed to solve the cybersecurity problems (three participants in the team).
It is noteworthy that two students from our school: 11th grader from AHS Aleksandre Lomadze-Gabiani and 10th grader from IB MYP Giorgi Chakhnashvili together with the third member Irakli Tvaliashvili (student) showed the best result among 50 teams and won 11th place. Our school team was supported by two teachers: ICT teacher David Nozadze from Georgian Program and Irodion Javakhishvili, a computer science teacher from AHS. They guided students during the preparation period before the Olympics.
