Basketball

Basketball club in the European School is supervised by ex-member of Georgian national basketball team, the winner of international tournaments Mr David Berdzenishvili.

School owns a basketball court, which hosts different age group tournaments. The school physical education lessons are held there as well.

The European School has a basketball team, which successfully participates in annual championships and friendly games between the public and private schools.

Some members of the European School basketball team are the members of Georgian National youth basketball teams, the clubs  “Hyundai” and “Academy” (Irakli Kochiashvili and the champion of Georgia, the member of club “Academy” – Luka Tsurtsumia). They have become the champions of Georgia twice and the champions of Tbilisi three times.
