Nino Kakhiani was born on the 29th of January,1958 . She graduated from Rustavi secondary school N 13 in 1975.

In 1988 Nino graduated from Al.Pushkin State Pedagogy  University, the faculty of Russian Language and Literature.

In 1985-2007 she worked as a teacher of the Russian Language at Rustavi gymnasium. Since 2007 Nino has been working at the European School as a Head of the ES Library.
