Book Week

On April 1-5 the European School held Book Week to promote literacy in young people. Throughout the week our students renewed damaged books; The ES hosted Bakur Sulakaury Publishers, Prospero Books, Books in Vake and other book stores, who offered their books to the ES community.
Ecoscope representative Giorgi Bujiashvili held an interactive lecture on How to Read the Universe like a Book. After the lecture students planted pine trees to replace cut trees used for paper production.
The most impressive event was the lecture about Braille alphabet conducted by Black Sea University student, who taught ES students how to read Braille script.
