European School Ambassadors at Council of Europe
The European School Academic Director Sophio Bazadze, MYP coordinator Linda Tsitskishvili and students attended the 36th session of the Congress of local and regional authorities of the Council of Europe from 2 to 4 April 2019 in Strasbourg, France.
NGO Multinational Georgia for Strengthening Democratic Values (MGSDV) organized the visit of the ES delegation to Strasbourg. MGSDV supports participation of Georgian youth delegations at sessions of the Council of Europe from year 2012. During the visit to Strasbourg the ES students attended international conferences, seminars and lectures on Global issues.
The Council of Europe unites 47 member states, 28 states from the list are members of the European Union. In year 1999, Georgia became the 41st member of the Council of Europe.
