First PTA Meeting

The first PTA meeting was held at the European School on October 27, 2017. Parent representatives from three school programs were welcomed by Sophio Bazadze, the Academic Director. Ms. Bazadze provided the guests with detailed information about our school’s recent accomplishments. She also outlined the school’s future plans and presented the new management team to the audience. Christo Steyn, the head of the IB Programmes, described the benefits of the IB; Joseph Blake, the head of the AHS, informed parents about successful matriculation of AHS graduates. Keti Nachkebia, PTA coordinator, explained the mission, goals and objectives of the PTA, described its structure and functions of the association members.

Later on, each PTA chamber elected its Chairperson.

Lela Khurtsilava – Georgian Program;

Sopho Barnabishvili – IB Programmes;

Maka Metreveli – AHS.

Newly-elected Chairpersons expressed their readiness to create more positive environment for their children and drive the change.

In the end, PTA members enjoyed coffee and cake at the London Avenue. PTA Chairpersons cut the cake together.
