Mr Petre graduated from the faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in 2000. He received Master’s Degree of the same university in 2002.He graduated from Tbilisi State University’s post-graduate course with specialty in Theory of Relativity and Mathematical Statistics. Maintained a thesis in 2006 on “Semi-martingale local time and option of American sales” and received the title of Science Candidate. He has attended trainings and Oxford University and Milan Bocconi University. Since 2009 is an assistant professor at  Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University- the faculty of Theory of relativity and Mathematical Statistics. He has been awarded with the President’s scholarships three times so far as well as  Georgian National Sciences Academy and National Scientific Fund by  Ilia Vekua’s once. Petre passed various certification exams: Mathematics 7-12, Mathematics 1-6, Computer and English, Professional Skills (2010-2012). In 2011 he received the title of the best certified teacher.  He is a mentor-teacher and mathematics trainer at the Ministry of Science and Education of Georgia. He is the mathematics committee member of NAEC and an authorization expert at an educational facility. He has received various scientific grants. He has participated in many International and local scientific conferences (Italy, English, Germany, Spain, The Czech Republic, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, etc.). He is an author of scientific works (Theory of relativity in mathematical statistics, financial mathematics and their methodology).He is a co-author of a textbook “Mathematics 7-12’ (2011).Since 2007 he has been teaching at the European School and since 2014 is the Head of Mathematics Department. By the method of contest was selected as a teacher of the European School’s IB diploma program in 2009. He is an author of syllabus and a lecturer for IB program “IB Examiner in Mathematics” (English, Cardiff 2012) and AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC, authorized by College Board.
