Ms Sofo graduated from the faculty of Chemistry of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and received the qualification of a chemistry teacher. At the same university she took a Master’s degree course in High Molecular compounds.

She received the President’s and P.Meliqishvili scholarships.

Sofo maintained a thesis on “Synthesis and research of comb-like silicomotive oligomer containing functional groups”.

She worked at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University as a Chemistry laboratory assistant; she taught chemistry in Demirel private college. She was an associated professor at the Georgian Aviation University and Caucasian International University

She currently works at Tbilisi State Medical University as a lecturer and at the European School in IB program (MYP, DP) as a Chemistry teacher.

Since 2016 she has been a certified trainer.

She is an author of 10 scientific articles and the textbook of Chemistry.
