100 GIRLS FROM FOUR COUNTRIES - THE EUROPEAN SCHOOL HOSTS WISCI GIRLS STEAM CAMP

The European School hosts WiSci Girls STEAM Camp on August 12-25, 2018. The camp brings together 100 high school girls from Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and the United States. They will expand their knowledge in science, technology, engineering, arts and design, and mathematics (STEAM).

Leading engineers from Google, Intel, and Microsoft will teach them Robotics, coding, how to develop mobile applications, etc. Experienced mentors will help girls acquire and develop leadership skills.

A 2-week long WiSci (Women in Science) Girls STEAM Camp is organized by Millennium Challenge Corporation, the U.S. Department of State, Google, Intel Corporation, and Girl Up. The camp aims to empower the next generation of female leaders, especially in the STEAM fields.

The European School is always eager to participate in such events and teaches students to use technology with purpose.
