The European School is a Winner of Millennium Innovation Competition

On March 28, the finals of the Millennium Innovations Competition took place. The competition encourages innovative ideas and project implementation in STEM fields and technologies among youth. The ES team became one of the finalist teams and won Tegeta Motors’s prize -5000 GEL. The project of Georgian Program students from 7-9 grade was about generating electric power in an eco-friendly way. The students created an innovative propeller able to catch wind everywhere. The team was mentored by FabLab teacher Guranda Gogaladze. The ES team consisted of following students: Nugo Shoshiashvili, Omar Shekiladze, Sandro Tvaliashvili, Dimitri Gozalishvili and Giorgi Geladze.
The main goal of the Millennium Innovation Competition is to connect winner students to the private companies and support their future collaboration.
