Halloween Party

Halloween Party is one of the highlights on the European School Events Calendar. It has become a school tradition to plan Halloween as students excitedly create spooky ornaments to decorate the London Avenue and school hallways, bake Halloween cakes, dress up as ghosts and ghouls, monsters, mummies and witches.

This year’s celebration was two events rolled into one. The Halloween party for younger students was held separately in the daytime. Kids dressed in their Halloween costumes enjoyed candy, played fun games and performed on stage. The party for the older students took place in the evening. The Haunted Room that creeped everyone out, along with different scary activities, kept the Halloween spirit going during the entire party.

This year the Student Parliament Chairperson Candidates had an opportunity to address the school community at the Halloween Party and showcased their talents to the audience.

Students from all three programs of the European School performed on stage; even the program coordinators got dressed up as witches and performed the specially choreographed broomstick dance. At the end, magic gifts such as summer course at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, trip to Dracula’s Palace, Magic Mirror, Elixir of Life, Rejuvenating Potions, etc., were awarded to the best performers and costume designers.

Thanks to the GIF Booth the party got even more fun and exciting. GIF- “Live Photos” are available at the following link:  G I F
