Seminar on "Europe and the World"

This seminar will be held in Strasbourg, 21-22 March 2013 within the framework of the project “Shared histories for a Europe without dividing lines” launched by the Council of Europe. The history teacher Natia Pirtskhalava will attend the seminar.

The objective of this project is to put into light concrete examples of interactions, of historical exchanges and convergences, within the history of the European space, without denying conflicts and tensions. Natia Pirtskhalava’s presentation will be about the problems of teaching-learning History in Georgia.There will be discussed  the teachers/students History tests, different historical sources, the problems of teaching the Soviet Period in History, other challenges in History teaching/learning process with specific examples
