Giorgi Sichinava

With college counseling and preparation experience of over 12 years, Giorgi Sichinava is an educator who continues to work closely with students and parents, building the European School’s Comprehensive College Counseling Program that aims to ensure students’ college, career and life readiness.
With degrees in Social Sciences (Bachelor’s) and Economics (master’s) from GTU, certificates in Future of Higher Education (Duke University), Entrepreneurship (University of Maryland), Introduction to Psychology (Yale University), and a four-course specialization in Success, Influence, Improving Communication Skills, and Leading the Life You Want from University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School, Giorgi Sichinava is committed to the idea of lifelong learning, regularly participating in professional development workshops and seminars by the College Board, NACAC (National Association for College Admissions Counseling), and CIS (Council of International Schools).
Broader experience as the alumnus of TSPS (Tbilisi School of Political Studies – Council of Europe’s Education Department) and regular attendance of international education forums (e.g. Global Forum on International Admission and Guidance) put Giorgi in a favorable position to consult on emerging trends and best practices in international education.
Having founded and run two private test-preparation and counseling organizations (GS Solutions 2009-2014 and GS Academy in 2014), Giorgi Sichinava has a proven track record of helping students succeed at schools, in colleges and beyond, with some of the best results in Georgia.
Giorgi’s immediate responsibilities within the school community (students, parents, staff, etc.) and his supervisory duties are both directed to enhance the impact that education at European School can have.
