Annual PYP Talent Show 2025–2026
The Annual Talent Show in PYP, originally initiated by the students themselves, continues to be one of the most anticipated and beloved events in our school community. Year after year, students eagerly look forward to this special occasion, where they are given the opportunity to express themselves, celebrate their individuality, and share their talents with others.
This year’s Talent Show once again highlighted the incredible diversity of our students’ abilities and interests. Students demonstrated their talents through dancing, singing, drawing, and showcasing various sports skills such as football, swimming, and tennis. Some students also introduced the audience to kendo, a traditional Japanese martial art that focuses on discipline, respect, and swordsmanship using bamboo swords and protective armor. In addition to these performances, many other unique talents were proudly shared on stage.
The event became especially meaningful thanks to the collaboration between students, parents, and teachers, whose support and dedication helped create a positive and encouraging atmosphere for everyone involved.
Beyond entertainment, the Talent Show provided students with valuable opportunities to develop important skills and attributes connected to the IB Learner Profile. Students became more confident communicators, risk-takers, and reflective learners as they performed in front of an audience and supported one another throughout the process. The experience also encouraged collaboration, creativity, resilience, and open-mindedness while celebrating the uniqueness of every student.
The Annual Talent Show continues to be a wonderful tradition in PYP, reminding us of the importance of student voice, creativity, and community spirit.
