New Year’s Events in PYP
Our PYP students participated in a variety of New Year celebration events that showcased their creativity, collaboration, and confidence. Students in Grades 1–3 presented festive concerts, performing New Year–themed songs and dances to different pieces of music, demonstrating their communication skills and confidence as performers.
Students in Grades 4–5 prepared and presented skits, dances, songs, and other performances, applying social and self-management skills as they planned, rehearsed, and worked together as a team. Through these celebrations, students demonstrated key PYP Learner Profile attributes, including being communicators, risk-takers, and caring, while strengthening their understanding of the concepts of expression, perspective, and community.
