Golden Butterfly 2018

Calls for applications for the 8th Golden Butterfly International Movie Festival 2018 have been open since March 15!

The festival is open for teenagers under 18 both from Georgia and abroad.

The applicants should:

  1. Make a small film (around 7 minutes long; can be a documentary, animation or fiction) and send it to: oqrospepela@gmail.com
  2. Fill out the application form (see the attachment) and send it to: oqrospepela@gmail.com
  3. The genre is not limited to topics and themes
  4. The movie should have English subtitles available

Application Deadline: May 15, 2018

The application forms and nominated movies will be evaluated by the festival council.

The Golden Butterfly International Movie Festival will take place at Tbilisi Nodar Dumbadze Professional State Youth Theatre and the European School, May 29 – June 1, 2018.

  12. The Movie of the Year (given “Golden Butterfly” Grand Prix)
