ASAS Parents Meeting with the Principal

Three weeks into the new school year, parents gathered on campus for the second Parents with the Principal meeting of 2026–27.

George Zedginidze reviewed the term so far, including individual meetings held with this year’s Principal’s Award recipients and ASAS athletes. He introduced the school’s 3Ps & 3Rs framework: Respect, Belonging, and Safety, paired with No Mobiles, Uniform, and Punctuality, as a shared language for expectations at home and at school. He also noted that the Month of Respect is underway, and that Study Hall has officially launched as part of the regular schedule. On academics, 16 AP courses are on offer this year, with around 100 students expressing interest ahead of end-of-October testing, while Honors testing wraps up.

ASAS Senior Psychologist Nino Margvelashvili gave parents a talk on supporting adolescents, offering practical insight for navigating this stage at home.

The Principal closed by emphasizing partnership between home and school, and reaffirmed he is always glad to meet with parents individually, before opening the floor to questions.
