Professor Manana Pkhakadze’s Lecture

On Monday, December 11, American High School students from Grades 8, 9, 10, 11 attended and participated in a discussion and presentation organized by Georgian teachers Ms. Ketevan Gardapkhadze and Dr. Eka Kobakhidze in the Prague Conference Room. Dr. Manana Pkhakadze, a lecturer at Tbilisi State University explained the significance regarding antiquity and its relation to contemporary life. She further explained the origins of antique words that we use today, the role of mythology, and how historic concepts relate to modern life and the role they play in our current everyday lives.
