European School Students Attend National Model United Nations

Three European School students: Ekaterine Bakradze (American High School Grade 11), Elene Kavtaradze (American High School Grade 11, currently studying in Washington, Pennsylvania USA on American High School’s semester abroad program), and Nikoloz Gozalishvili (IB Grade 12) attended the National Model United Nations in Washington D.C. from October 30th through November 1st.
The three students were selected to present the Central African Republic and the Republic of Maldives. The topic of their committee wasReduction of Damage Caused by Natural Disasters. Our students actively collaborated with other delegates in writing a resolution for the above mentioned issue. The model UN committee passed the resolution our students produced.
