The European School Marathon
06 Nov 2017The European School Marathon was held at Turtle Lake yesterday, November 5, 2017. The Marathon was not only a mere competition, but rather a celebration for every participant – the youngest staff members and older teachers alike. The purpose of the marathon was to promote sports and healthy lifestyle among our school community. About 80 teachers took part in the race, running 3600 meters at Turtle Lake.
Unprecedented Cooperation between the British Council and the European School
03 Nov 2017The British Council and the European School signed an Agreement of Cooperation. The purpose of the agreement is to implement the British education model in English language learning and teaching. Justin McKenzie Smith, British Ambassador to Georgia, attended the signing ceremony.
“Writers for European Values”

Joys of “Literacy”
02 Nov 2017Within the scope of the “Literacy” Project, the Director General of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia, Giorgi Kekelidze, paid a visit to the European School on November 1, 2017 and held an open lesson for the 3rd and 4th graders.
Halloween Party
31 Oct 2017Halloween Party is one of the highlights on the European School Events Calendar. It has become a school tradition to plan Halloween as students excitedly create spooky ornaments to decorate the London Avenue and school hallways, bake Halloween cakes, dress up as ghosts and ghouls, monsters, mummies and witches.
First PTA Meeting
29 Oct 2017The first PTA meeting was held at the European School on October 27, 2017. Parent representatives from three school programs were welcomed by Sophio Bazadze, the Academic Director. Ms. Bazadze provided the guests with detailed information about our school’s recent accomplishments.
MYP ASSEMBLY
26 Oct 2017On October 26th at 9 am, our first MYP Assembly was held. MYP 10th graders presented their projects: Health and Wellbeing and Food Revolution Project. According to the current unit “Health and Wellbeing” MYP 10 B students prepared a project about the website, which was created by themselves.
Animation Day at the European School
26 Oct 2017On October 26th, elementary students from Georgian Program came to school dressed like characters from their favorite animated movies. At the same day, children enjoyed creating simple animations with the help of the representatives from Arts Museum. In the afternoon, costume parade was held at the London Avenue.
Food Revolution Project
26 Oct 2017MYP students from grade 10 C initiated an action connected with the global context and the statement of inquiry. Inspired by Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution project half of the 10 C MYP students prepared some dishes for the kindergarten students and another half offered them online activities using smart technologies.
