Field Trip to the Juice Factory
07 Nov 2018On November 7, students from our Georgian Program grade 1B visited the "Campa" juice factory. Pupils observed juice making and product packaging processes and took a tour in the warehouse, where thousands of juice boxes were stocked. Children even got the chance to drive a special machine and transport products from one place to another. In the end, students participated in a tasting of various fruit flavors. Our 4th graders returned home filled with excitement.
Excursion to the Georgian National Center of Manuscripts
06 Nov 2018On November 6, our Georgian Program pupils from the grade 4B paid a visit to Georgian National Center of Manuscripts. Students saw a collection of unique manuscripts. They acquired knowledge of a book writing process and were familiarized with the main stages of the development of the Georgian alphabet.
Dasaran at the European School
04 Nov 2018We were honored to host representatives of Dasaran, internationally award-winning Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) organization based in Armenia, which builds technology designed to help countries around the world to meet their educational and technological development goals. Guests were familiarized with the e-platforms currently in use at the European School and their functionalities. The Dasaran team presented features and possibilities of their software and we got to know a broad range of benefits that come with their service. Afterward, European School students gave our guests a school tour and showed them around the newly opened FabLab, an innovative laboratory which aims to provide hands-on STEM education even in the early school years.
Fun Sports Games
01 Nov 2018On October 31, fun sports games were held involving our 4th graders. Participants showed their athletic abilities and achievement motivation. Children did their best and demonstrated an adequate level of physical readiness.
Robot Race between First Graders
30 Oct 2018Our first graders took part in a team competition - Robot Race. They programmed path for the robots and attempted to help it successfully reach the final point. Cheered on by their parents and family members, children were very competitive and showed a great team spirit. The winners were awarded certificates and delicious chocolate gold medals.
Conversations with Psychologist - How to make the adaptation process with school run smoothly
30 Oct 2018Student’s support center at the European School continues a series of meetings “Conversations with Psychologist”. On October 30, our school psychologist Ketevan Osiashvili met with parents of 1st graders and centered her discussion around the topic “Adaptation of first-graders to school". At the meeting, parents were given recommendations on how to make the adaptation process with school run more smoothly. Moreover, she gave them tips on how to create a conducive environment for their children's cognitive development.
International Animation Day at the European School
29 Oct 2018On October 29, our primary years students from the Georgian Program celebrated the International Animation Day. Dressed up as their beloved cartoon characters, pupils demonstrated spectacular outfits at the red carpet fashion show and made a flash mob. Afterward, children had the pleasure of attending the puppet theatre performance and as a memento, took photos with their favorite puppets.
Meeting with Giorgi Kekelidze

Eminent Russian Linguists Hold Seminar at the European School
23 Oct 2018On October 20-21, our school hosted a seminar on " Methods for Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language ". The seminar was conducted by eminent Russian linguists, Stanislav Chernyshov and his wife, Anna Chernyshova. Russian language teachers from all over the country were introduced to practical teaching strategies that will assist in facilitating the learning process in their classrooms. At the end of the seminar, participants were awarded certificates.
