PYP Assembly
On Friday PYP grade 4C students had an assembly in the main hall about the theme “Celebrating diversity”. The students had some discussions about similarities and differences beforehand that increased their desire to express their uniqueness and traditions by preparing small presentations. The assembly included a brief history of America followed by a fun quiz, Iranian and Kazakh traditional food, Russian dance “Polka”, Iranian games, Sudanese traditional clothes, Georgian dance “Acharuli”, etc. The students also prepared the song about friendship “Count on me”. At the end the guests had a chance to taste some food from different countries. The assembly helped the students to better understand and develop the attitudes such as tolerance and respect.
At the end the PYP students were rewarded for demonstrating the attributes of LP during the inquiry.
