Summative Assessment around Impact of Geographical landscapes on living things featuring an original poem

Students of Grade 3A proudly took part in their Summative Assessment Presentation for the unit How the World Works, exploring the central idea: “Geographical landscapes have a significant impact on living things.” Inspired by the true story of Jadav Payeng, the Forest Man of India, and moved by an original poem written by their teacher, students created their own nature-themed poems that beautifully reflected the connection between land and life. During the presentation, they confidently read their verses aloud, each accompanied by unique illustrations that brought their ideas to life. Their creative expressions showcased not only their understanding of the unit but also their deep empathy for the natural world and the power of individual action.
