Twenty-eight students from the European School, accompanied by Leadership & Engagement Coordinator Nana Mukeria, completed a two-week educational program at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Organized by the Georgian American Leadership Academy (GALA), the program combined intensive workshops with a curated cultural agenda.

We are proud to share the remarkable academic journey of Nika Kurdadze, a former mathematics and physics teacher at the American School of Advanced Studies. Nika, a graduate of the School of Physics at the Free University, has been accepted into the prestigious PhD program in Physics at the University of California, Riverside, where he will specialize in condensed matter physics.

On June 13th, the European School’s American School of Advanced Studies proudly celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2025 - a milestone marking both academic achievement and personal growth.

On May 27, students brought the grandeur of antiquity to life in the Classics Competition: “All of Aeschylus!”—a vibrant celebration of ancient literature, knowledge, and collaborative spirit.

May 30, Tbilisi — In a vibrant celebration of Georgia’s artistic heritage, 19 talented finalists of the ASAS calligraphy competition gathered at the Calligraphers' Association for an unforgettable workshop and awards ceremony. The event marked the culmination of a week-long selection process, highlighting the cultural importance and timeless beauty of Georgian script.

The 2025 ASAS Chess Championship marked the second successful year of the prestigious in-school tournament, with around 70 students from grades 6 to 8 participating in the event.

On May 27th, the IV International Interdisciplinary Hybrid Conference "Georgia and the World" was proudly hosted by the European School's American School of Advanced Studies (ASAS) in cooperation with COGNIA (International Education Services, USA) and Tbilisi State University (Georgia). 

On May 21, 2025, the European School / American School of Advanced Studies had the honor of hosting an inspirational masterclass and lecture led by representatives of the First Georgian International Diaspora Educational Academy (Beyond Borders Diaspora Alliance for Georgia) and  The First International Association of Georgian Calligraphy.
