End-of-the-Semester CAS/SL Assembly
On December 12, 2024, the IB DP/CP End-of-the-Semester CAS/SL Assembly was organized. It brought together students and faculty to reflect on their CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) and SL (Service Learning) experiences. Mariam Khatiashvili, the CAS/SL Coordinator, opened the assembly with insightful remarks on the importance of reflection in the CAS/SL journey. Following her, David Razmadze, a DP1 student, presented on the key elements of CAS reflection, emphasizing its role in personal and academic growth. Through video interviews, Maksym Pustovarov, DP1, highlighted the connection between CAS and the IB Learner Profile attributes, illustrating how these attributes shape meaningful learning experiences. Ninia Dzneladze, DP1, shared her CAS activity for the International Day of Tolerance, showcasing her contributions to promoting inclusivity and understanding. Metin Tuna Kobak, DP1, reflected on his CAS involvement in the Global Ethics Day symposium, discussing its significance in fostering ethical awareness. Lastly, Giorgi Piranishvili, DP1, delivered a thought-provoking presentation on Artificial Intelligence, exploring its role in daily life, cybersecurity, and connections to the IB Learner Profile. The assembly was a successful conclusion to the semester, providing a platform for students to share their achievements and inspire others in their CAS/SL endeavors.
