European School Completes the 5-year Evaluation of its IB Diploma Programme with Flying Colours

The European School is proud to announce that it has received a highly positive feedback from the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) for its implementation of the IB Diploma Programme (DP)

The report from the IBO confirms that the European School’s strong mission and vision, closely aligns with the IB philosophy of developing inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who contribute to a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

Among the many commendations, the IB report highlighted:

  • Strong leadership and governance;
  • Commitment to student-centered education;
  • Outstanding support systems;
  • High-quality professional development;
  • Inclusive admissions and equity policies; and
  • Consistent and transparent assessment practices.

The evaluation team also commended the European School’s proactive approach to continuous development, noting its clear strategic focus on student success and academic excellence.

The European School remains Georgia’s only IB Continuum School, offering all four IB Programmes PYP, MYP, DP, and CP to students from over 36 nationalities. The recent evaluation confirms the school’s position as a leading international education institution in the region.
