Grade 3 Yoga Studio Field Trip
As part of our Unit of Inquiry Who We Are, Grade 3B pyp students visited a local yoga studio to explore how healthy choices influence well-being. The instructor led the students through simple yoga poses, breathing exercises, and mindfulness activities. Students discovered how yoga strengthens muscles, improves flexibility, and supports focus and calmness. They asked questions, reflected on what they learned, and shared how yoga made them feel relaxed and energized. Back at school, students recorded reflections and illustrated favorite poses for their portfolios. The trip provided a valuable, real-life connection between classroom learning and healthy lifestyle practices.
