Grade 5 Summative

Students summarized the unit about migrations they have been exploring during the transdisciplinary theme “Where we are in place and time”.  Students made a lot of connections during this unit and shared multiple stories with their peers. They explored push and pull factors of migration and defined the ways of assimilation to the new places.  For the summative project, they cooperated with their family members to prepare the projects and came up with different ways of presenting their stories – interviews with family members, Google Slides, PPT, Canva presentations or posters. They also brought their traditional food to share with their peers and teachers.
