International Mother Language Day Celebration
This year, PYP student council members hosted a vibrant celebration of International Mother Language Day, highlighting the significance of this occasion while showcasing the diversity within the Primary Years Program (PYP). Students participated in various activities, performing songs in different languages, reciting poems, and taking part in short films that reflected their cultural stories. Many students proudly wore their national costumes, and a poster exhibition displayed their artistic talents and cultural information. Additionally, a book donation drive encouraged students to bring books in various languages, enriching our school library and promoting multilingual literacy. Overall, the celebration was a joyful reminder of the importance of language as a means of communication and identity, reflecting our school’s commitment to embracing and celebrating diversity.
