Trip to the National Museum
28 Nov 2019As part of their learning process grade 3 PYP visited the National Museum of Georgia. Grade 3 students are currently inquiring into the unit ‘where we are in place and time’ under which they are learning all about ancient civilizations and how these civilizations shaped the structure of modern societies. During the trip students explored ancient artifacts and connected what they saw to the knowledge and information they have acquired during their lessons. They chose one artifact from the museum and recorded information to further explore it after the trip. Students had a lot of fun and spent a wonderful time together with their classmates and teachers.

For Supporting Anita
28 Nov 2019On November 28, the whole European School united and conducted charity action for supporting the little Anita. With the initiative of the Student Parliament Chair Anamaria Iakobidze, famous Georgian singer Nini Badurashvili held a concert at the school. The students were happy to meet Nini. Nini Badurashvili and TV show anchorman Nikoloz Tsulukidze, both agreed to join the campaign with great enthusiasm.

Alma Cup 2019
28 Nov 2019On November 20-23, with the initiative of the Student union Alma Mater, tournament in Minifootball-Alma Cup 2019 was held at Grigol Robakidze University. Several teams of the university faculties and partner schools: the European School, State School №23 and State School №98 participated at the tournament.

Anti Bullying Campaign #goodtogether
26 Nov 2019Within the Anti Bullying Campaign #goodtogether, several events were held at the European School organized by the Student Well-being Center: the MYP , the PYP and the Georgian Program students arranged a showcase of short movies and following discussions about bullying theme in classes and at the library. They created posters, some crafts and exhibited in the hallways. The PYP students additionally dedicated the assembly to the bullying theme. #goodtogether ,,#ერთადუკეთესია’’

PYP Elections
26 Nov 2019PYP grade 5 students inquired into the ways governments systems influence the life of the citizens, during the transdisciplinary theme “How we organize ourselves”. Students have been working on the elections campaign where they had to promote their party and a candidate for the PYP president. Our candidates are: Aleksandre Tsiklauri - #1, Maryam Huseynova - #2, Nikolozi Iakobidze - #3 and Atila Rousta - #4. During the week they were meeting the PYP community and have been promoting their candidate through: flyers, video promotions, charity actions. On November 21 st they had the debates where all the candidates had to come up with the solutions of the problems our community faces. The students worked as a team and came up with the creative and practical answers. The 3 rd and 4 th attended the debates and asked questions about the goals of each party.

Parent’s Week
21 Nov 2019On November 21, Masho Davitadze’s mother lawyer Keti Kvartskhava visited us in Yellow Group. She talked about her profession, Public Order and Children's Rights. The kids cheerfully engaged in the conversation and expressed their views on these topics. At the end of the meeting, Masho gave away some presents to her friends. Thanks to Keti for this amazing visit!

MYP program's Activity
20 Nov 2019On 20 th of November, MYP program conducted three-way conference. Students, parents and teachers met each other to discuss students’ ongoing success and develop strategic plan for their further development. Teachers discussed different activities, students’ notebooks and other aspects of teaching process. These meetings will be systematic throughout the year.

Exhibition
20 Nov 2019Boris Balikoev’s personal exhibition. With this exhibition we celebrate and reinforce achievements of our talented student and inspire other students to participate in such events in the future.

Parent’s Week
20 Nov 2019In the Yellow Group Elene Narmania’s father David Narmania talked about professions. Kids introduced themselves and talked about what professions they will choose in the future. Thanks to Mr. David for an interesting meeting!
