PYP Exhibition 2023-2024 at European School: A Celebration of Learning and Growth
The European School’s Primary Years Programme (PYP) Exhibition for the 2023-2024 academic year was a true success, showcasing the hard work, creativity, and dedication of the Grade 5 students. The exhibition highlighted a range of important topics, including deforestation, volunteering, women’s rights, and many other topics of global and local importance. The PYP Exhibition serves as the culminating event for Grade 5 students, allowing them to apply their learning and skills from the PYP curriculum to real-world issues.
This year, the students chose to focus on critical topics that are not only relevant but also deeply impactful, under the transdisciplinary theme of Sharing the Planet. Students interviewed specialists, conducted surveys, held assemblies and lessons, and took multiple actions, one of them being a whole PYP Bake Sale where different groups collaborated to raise awareness of different issues and support orphanages and animal shelters. This was a great opportunity to demonstrate skills and knowledge of our young learners.
