U.N. DAY ASSEMBLY
The United Nations officially came into existence on 24 October 1945. Today (26.10.2020) at 8:40 we had a “shared time” morning check-in with lower grades. Our main aim was to briefly introduce them to the UN and its principles. We wanted to see if they would be interested in the UN and in participating in any of the events planned by the UN, as it would be very beneficial for them and their portfolios.
Some Grade 10 students expressed their desire to educate their classmates on this organisation, by hosting an online presentation sharing some facts and their own ideas about the importance of the U.N. and their action. We received positive feedback from the students as they seemed interested in the process and the very informative presentation done by our students.
