Valentine's Day at European School
Talent Competition at European School
The European School Talent Competition took place from February 24th to 28th.
The organizational committee and Jury was composed of the following members:
1.Levan Tsuladze –Director of Kote Marjanishvili Satate Drama Theatre(Head of Jury)
2.David Gomarteli –Popular singer
3.Mariam Gobianidze– European School IB DP grade 12 student
4. Kato Bakradze – European School American High School grade 12 student
5. Aleksander Karalashvili –The European School graduate, student of Caucasus University, semi- finalist of “Rustavi2”Talent Competition 2013
6.Dimitri Gozalishvili-The European School grade 5a student, semi finalist of “Rustavi2”Talent Competition 2016
The selection of contestants for the European School Talent Competition took place on February 15th. 16 out of 27, individual and group performances were selected for the first round of the competition. After the first round, held on February 24, 9 performances were chosen as finalists.
The final round of the competition was entertaining and competitive. It was difficult for the jury to select the most talented students. The first prize “Talented Golden Star” winners became the students from grade 8a . They were awarded with a four day trip to Gudauri. The other “Talented Stars” winning acts were:
1. Tamta Diasamidze and grade 10 students(2 day excursion)
2. Students from grade 6b : Lika Bolkvadze, Anastasia Gobianidze, Zaal Chumburidze
The four day trip to Gudauri was awarded also to:
3. Niaz Mahdavi-student from MYP grade 6
4. Sich Chang –student from PYP grade 4.
The finalists were additionally awarded with finalist diplomas.
For their organization and promotion of competition at a high level MCs : Irakli Jaoshvili and Salome Jokhadze were awarded diplomas of achievement.
Diplomas were given to homeroom teachers: Tamar Tsagareli(grade 8a) and Maia Melikishvili( grade 10).
