Workshop by Immerse Education for IB DP/CP CAS/SL students

On October 17, 2024, IB DP CAS and CP SL students at our school had the unique opportunity to attend an enlightening workshop titled “Future-Ready Insights: Preparing for Careers That Don’t Exist Yet”, presented by Sasha Utami, Area Manager at Immerse Education. As we navigate an ever-evolving world, the job market is undergoing a transformation that opens doors to exciting and unpredictable career opportunities. This dynamic session empowered students to prepare for the future with adaptability, creativity, and innovation at the forefront. During the workshop, students explored emerging careers shaped by technological advances, societal shifts, and environmental challenges, while identifying key future-ready skills such as adaptability, problem-solving, and digital literacy, along with practical strategies for developing them. They participated in hands-on activities that highlighted the critical role of creativity and innovation in a rapidly changing world and gained insights into how technological advancements, combined with human ingenuity, will influence future job markets, focusing on the balance between both forces. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, where students had the chance to ask questions, share ideas, and receive personalized guidance on their journey toward future careers. This workshop was a valuable experience, encouraging students to adopt a mindset of continuous learning and adaptability. It inspired them to embrace the limitless possibilities of tomorrow by equipping themselves with the tools to succeed today.
