World Cancer Day

World Cancer Day is an international day marked on February 4 to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. The Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) and the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) announced that 1.5 million lives which would be lost to cancer, could be saved per year if decisive measures are taken.

The ES students joined the anticancer campaign with great enthusiasm. They created pins, posters and distributed them for raising awareness about cancer.
