Academic Assembly Showcases Student Talent and Innovation
On January 31, students, teachers, and guests gathered in Building C, Main Hall for a vibrant Academic Assembly, hosted by Iremadze Nutsa, Kurshitashvili Tsisia, and Mohammad Tahmasebi. The event featured an exciting mix of intellectual presentations, creative performances, and engaging discussions, highlighting the diverse talents of students across multiple grades.
The assembly opened with a traditional Lazuri dance performance by Ana Molodini & Friends from the Georgian National Ballet, setting an energetic and cultural tone for the event. This was followed by a series of thought-provoking speeches and projects:
- Ana Aptsiauri & Saba Bogveradze (10A) explored the Life-Changing Philosophy of Five Authors, offering deep literary insights.
- Gega Jikhvadze (Grade 11) presented his ongoing Project in Georgian Language, sparking curiosity about its theme.
- Shaya Tari, Andrea Khodeli, and Carl Hyder (10A, B) analyzed Methods of Incremental Economic Welfare, followed by a detailed breakdown of Macroeconomic Analysis by Carl Hyder, Shaya Tari, and Merab Dzuliashvili (10B).
- Aleksandre Darchiashvili & Micah Provotorov (10A, B) tackled contemporary issues in Microeconomic Reforms in Georgia.
In the realm of literature and humanities, younger students made their mark:
- Oniani Elene (Grade 7) delivered an insightful speech on Reading in the Digital Era.
- Onise Kandelaki (Grade 11C) inspired the audience with One Planet, One People, emphasizing global unity.
- Mariam Khaduri & Mariam Gilauri (Grade 9B) introduced their innovative Podcast Project on English Literature, highlighting modern ways of engaging with classical texts.
The assembly also celebrated artistic expression:
- Basarani Mariam (Grade 12) gave a heartfelt vocal performance of “Like a Tattoo” by Sade.
- Several students form Grade 6 brought elegance to the stage with their Cha-Cha-Cha dance performance.
The event concluded with a student self-reflection survey, allowing attendees to provide feedback on their experiences and participation.
