Conference "Current Issues of Neurobiology-2023
On December 22, 2023, at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, the 11th Scientific Conference “Current Issues in Neurobiology-2023” took place, initiated by the Department of Human and Animal Physiology of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences, in collaboration with the Department of Biology and the Faculty’s administration.
The conference was dedicated to the memory of Ivane Beritashvili, an Academician and the Founder of the Department of Human and Animal Physiology at Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. The objective of the conference was to highlight Ivane Beritashvili’s contributions to the development of neurophysiological research in Georgia and its integration with the global scientific community. The scientific endeavors of the Department of Human and Animal Physiology were assessed during the conference, and a debate on current issues in neuroscience was conducted.
Our students actively participated in the conference, a credit to their teacher, Gia Kutelia.
